Get to know more about MSW 18 winner: FELIX.GIRO

 As a part of our MSW dedication, we have the privilege of having in our blog an interview of MSW 18 WINNER. FELIX.GIRO apart from winning the contest back in 2018, he had the distinction of being the first ever MSW boy winner. So in this post you will get to know more about him and ofcourse more about his experience for MSW

Lets start with an interview. I contacted with felix and he kindly answered some quenstions about him.

1) Hello Felix , congratulations for your victory at MSW 18. Can you tell us more about yourself?

-Hi! Thank you so much for having me. It is a privilege to take part in this interview and let the

world get to know me a little better.

My name is Félix and I’m a 23 y.o male from Portugal. I started playing Stardoll in 2011 and

my first account was female. It was a lot of fun during a couple weeks, but that account is long

gone by now. Felix.giro only came up on 2012-08-14 when I started playing again.

I’m an extremely happy person and I always try to share that happiness with others. I enjoy a

lot making new friends at Stardoll.

2) How would you describe yourself as a person and as a ''fashion'' member?

-This is an interesting question. Well I’m a stubborn person, which is something I appreciate

because defending your own ideas is important. I’m also strict to myself, and that pushes me

to do everything as perfect as possible.

My friends usually describe me as friendly, kind, sympathetic, passionate and tender. Those

are some qualities I can relate to. Besides that, I’m a quiet person cause i also like to be alone and have time for myself.

Last, but not least, I’m a romantic guy. I believe in love, and walks on the beach, etc.

On MSW Hall of Fame, Stardoll described me as “Stylish” and that made me very happy. I

believe black suits better both my doll and I. But I also try hard to use more colorful outfits.

3) What do you consider as your biggest achievement apart from MSW (or in real life)?

-One of my biggest achievements on Stardoll was winning SNTHA last year. I competed every

single time but never succeeded. I used to look at the “Dreams of Design – Become a

Stardesigner” achievement and think “Oh that’s the one I’ll never get for sure”. But, for my

surprise, I made it last year! It was a moment full of happiness.

I trying to complete all the Stardoll Achievements. 81/87 so far :D

4) Which stardoll brand inspires you the most?

-Well, it’s not that hard to choose a “”favorite”” brand since there’s only one store dedicated to

male dolls. But I also enjoy to purchase at LE and Antidote.

 I also plan to collect all the 1 st edition SAP items, since i was thrilled when this store came out.

5) Do you have any hobbies?

-I do have hobbies since I like to keep myself entertained. I watch movies and series, I read, I

draw and I paint. I also collect Barbie dolls. I personally like to keep then in box, but sometimes

I rescue second-hand dolls and restore them to make them look brand new. It’s a lot of fun

and an interesting process.

6) While playing stardoll, how do you spend your time

- I usually spend my time designing on Stardoll. Unfortunately, there aren’t many contests to take part in lately as the time when stardoll was full of contests suprises and news which is sad. But i must be happy for what we get.

7) Who is your idol?

-My idol is Beyoncé. My sister introduced me to the Beyoncé world when I was 12 and I

could not leave it since then. She’s one of the greatest singers and performers the

world gifted to us.

8) What is your biggest dream?

-My biggest dreams are to be happy and successful. Besides that, I still dream to live in a

world without racism, homophobia, war and any other source of negativity.

9) Do you have any hope for the future and for the world?

-I do. The world is constantly changing. People are constantly changing. And I believe little by

little everything will be in their right place.

Even though we are going through a rough time at the moment, the world is waking up and

protesting. We can make a change if we all get united and fight together. We just need to

WANT, BELIEVE and FIGHT.

10) Is there something you want to tell to our viewers?

-Knowing that you enjoy MSW and a lot of your recent posts are about the same theme, I

thought I’d give some advice regarding it.

If any of you is still wondering if you should or should not compete for MSW this year, just do

it!! Don’t fight yourself on that. Sometimes the best experiences are the ones that took place

in the last minute. Take a risk and see how it goes.

If you have a ton of friends that are willing to vote you daily, that’s half-way to the crown.

Be sympathetic and kind. People will vote for their ideal Queen/King, the one who stands out,

so be at your highest!

Don’t pressure yourself. Take your time, breathe, relax and enjoy.

NOW ITS TIME FOR MSW EXPERIENCE. He ''lived'' in the contest as the leading star of the year. But how he reacted after he realised that he won? What he was feeling in all the msw journey of 1+ month?

His experience:

Winning MSW was a dream that became true. 

Stardoll has always been a part of myself and more than a game to me. 

It was, and it still is, my safe place. It's where I take refuge in.

So, MSW was also more than a competition. I obviously didn’t get anything from

the real world with it, but I got virtually and emotionally. I got Love. .

I had absolutely no words when I first saw the MSW results. I literally just wanted to scream,

and in fact I did! It was such an amazing experience.

But my dream to became a MSW winner didn’t come up in 2018. I also wanted to compete in

2017 but I gave up last minute. I totally wasn’t ready.

So 2018 was just the right year for me. I planned everything and I yearned to win.

It was a tough time tho. It’s not easy to spend a whole month in front of a computer asking for

votes. I don’t think I’d do that again. But above that, MSW allowed me to meet new wonderful

friends and laugh a lot, which help the time go by easily.
